IPhones that work

Qube runs on iPhone, from iOS 26.5. It needs two things: the NFC reader, which
every iPhone since the 7 has, and access to Screen Time.

There is no Android version yet.

My Qube does not respond to a tap

In order:

1. **Open Qube.** A tap only works from inside the app — your iPhone does not
read the cube on its own.
2. **Press the cube on screen**, then check that *Ready to Scan* appears. If
nothing opens, it is the reader that never started, not the cube failing to
answer.
3. **Bring the top of the iPhone to the cube**, near the camera. That is where
the NFC antenna sits — not the back, not the middle.
4. **Take off a thick case**, and anything metal in between. A magnetic mount
plate is enough to kill the signal.
5. **Update Qube** from the App Store.
6. **Restart the iPhone.**

If it still resists, write to us with your iPhone model.

Connecting Qube to Screen Time

Screen Time asks for a passcode or Face ID to confirm it is really you. With no
passcode on the iPhone, the permission cannot be granted — so Qube cannot lock
anything.

Open Settings, go to **Face ID & Passcode**, and set a passcode. Then come back
to Qube to finish connecting.

Escapes

They open your apps without the cube, for when you have no choice: the Qube left
at home, lost, or something that cannot wait.

You get five. They do not refill — that is what keeps them useful: enough that
you are never stuck, too few to lean on.

You will find them in your profile, under **Escapes**.

If you have used all five and need more, write to help@joinqube.com with your
account email, the one on your order. We put them back within one business day.

My app names do not show

Apple lets no app read your list of applications. Qube shows the icons and the
names, but the system draws them: we do not know them, and we cannot know them.

That is a guarantee from iOS, not a promise from us.

Changing mode while tapped in

It is not possible, and that is the point. While your Qube is on, your modes,
your house rules and your account are read-only: otherwise a trip to the
settings would undo your own word.

Everything opens back up at the next tap.

How my score is worked out

On three real measurements:

- total time locked;
- the number of stretches of at least 15 minutes;
- the length of your longest stretch.

Cutting a stretch before 15 minutes takes a few points off. Nothing is
estimated, nothing is guessed.

I lost my cube

Your escapes will carry you in the meantime. Write to help@joinqube.com to order
a new one.

Tracking my order

The tracking link is in the confirmation email you got when you ordered. It
shows how far along the parcel is, and carries the tracking number once it
ships.

If you cannot find it, write to us with the email you ordered with.

Deleting my account

From the app: your profile, then **Delete my account**. That clears the account
on our side and everything on this iPhone, in one go.

It is final — we cannot bring it back.
